Welcome to the website of Bloemsma Shipyard.

The success of Bloemsma Shipyard started as Jachtwerf Bloemsma. Over the last decades we became well-known in the super yacht industry. A few of the successfully built and well-known motor yachts are MY Flying Eagle, MY Free Sprit en MY Griffioen. But our sailing yachts like SY Copihue and SY Valquest are also well-known in the super yacht industry.

In 2016 Jachtwerf Bloemsma is acquired by Balk Shipyard. With this takeover both shipyards joined their experience and craftmanship. Together we will extend our craftmanship in favour of our clients.

Bloemsma built super yachts for the last decades, but the history of Balk is over 220 years old. Together we have for almost 300 years of boat building experience.

In our group of companies Balk Shipyard is specialised in the refit and rebuild of super yachts and Bloemsma Shipyard is our new build specialist.
